Brooklyn Native Dashawn Robinson, also known as Redeemed, began rapping at the age of 12. He ministered his first song on an Easter Sunday at his home church. In his early adolescent years, like many teenagers, he succumbed to certain social pressures which caused him to sway back and forth with secular and Gospel rap until he realized that God wanted to use his gift for the kingdom of God ONLY. Redeemed was later licensed a minister at the tender age of 17 in 2006 when he began preaching the gospel of Jesus.
