We Are The Wave Compilation Album was an idea that I had about two years ago. I had the idea but I didn’t really have the means nor the resources to do it. I was new to networking in CHH and I didn’t have any artists to do the project with. Last year we added a couple new artists and that’s when I realized this project as possible. It’s basically an introduction to New Wave Music Group. Also to encourage the youth to let them know they don’t have to be what society tells them to be. They can forge their own path and do something bigger than themselves. I started New Wave to give the average local artist a voice. It’s a diverse team from all over the World. My name is Ashton Hills, aka Ash To Ashes, and I was born in Fort Myers, FL. At an early age, I was quite a stubborn kid who never listened to anyone. I did what I wanted to do, spoke how I wanted, treated people how I wanted and thought that was fine. At the tender age of 10 I was taken to jail for stealing a bike. After that discrepancy, I straightened up for a while. But it wasn't until I graduated high school that I started getting into trouble. I got into the habit of robbing innocent people of their hard earned money. It didn't last long at all ,because one night I was pulled over by the Sheriff, and that was the last time I seen the streets. I went to prison at 20, and got released from prison at the ripe age of 30. What inspired me to pursue Gospel Rap is that I've always had a music bone in my body. GaëL (“Guy-El”) is an independent artist who originated in Congo, but now lives in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and performs around the Greater Toronto Area. He is passionate about creating and producing music that not only appeals to the ears but also impacts and touches the soul.  GaëL grew up listening to various types of music, however found a deep love for Hip-Hop/Rap. He started writing songs at a vary early age and battle rapping in middle school. GaëL later started performing at school talent shows and different shows in the Greater Toronto Area. Jason Pierre born in New Orleans, Louisiana comes from an artistic background and as a young child always had a love for the arts especially music. He was deeply involved is his schools band programs. After graduating Jason took his love of music to the next level by teaching himself how to produce music tracks and soon there on he taught himself how to record. Throughout the years Mr. Pierre has gone on to record three albums; one R&B, the other Hip Hop and his newest venture, Gospel. He has also obtained a recording certification from the Radio Recording Film Connection. Jason's focus now is to minster and spread the Gospel with his unique sound and delivery to those who want to hear the word and those who need to hear God's word.
