Shammah Featured In #MusicLov3rz Magazine May!

Shammah (King’s Chamber Music Group) As a Christian rapper, I am grateful to God to have completed my first album years ago. My newest album “Kingdom Come” was recently released and is available now on all major digital music platforms. My journey began in Guyana, South America where I was born, before migrating to New York City in 1981. It was at the age of 20, that Jesus saved me. This is a tender time for a young man, to give up partying, chasing girls, porn (images) and the love of this world. Jesus Christ delivered me from deep involvement in the worship of false gods, due to the occult that I grew up in through my ancestry. In America, I was very impressed and in love with the streets and the things it seemed to offer, but the Lord saved me before I ever went deep. I was never a gangster or drug dealer; God simply allowed me to grow up in the urban community to learn its language (knowing that He would save me and use me to communicate His glorious gospel to it). I’ve seen so ...

Vincent Tesoro & D-Rock Featured In #MusicLov3rz April!

Vincent Tesoro & D-Rock featured in #MusicLov3rz Magazine April edition! Vincent Tesoro's testimony: Imagine a young boy witnessing his mother suffering in front of his own eyes and there was nothing he could do to prevent it. The image I once had of her was distorted and sooner than later began to be speaking to an imposter. I had always been aware of my surroundings and had a gift of discernment beyond what the eye could see. This specific situation I wasn’t quite mature enough to understand or grasp the reality around the concept. My mother was a Christian, pure hearted woman who took care of me the best she could. Everything was done out of love.  Eventually In 2014 I overdosed. I was dead for 15 minutes and by the grace of God I was given a fresh start. When I woke up (after God putting breath back into my lungs) the doctors said it as a miracle. Instantly when I came to my senses I said “God thank you for this second chance that I don’t deserve. I promise to use my life t...

J.C. Lewis Featured In #MusicLov3rz Magazine February Edition!

How GOD Pulled Me Through  JOHN “J.C.” LEWIS Life in Ministry It all began in the summer of 2011 when I started recording near Downtown Houston. The passion and drive was there to get out and spread The Gospel through music. Little did I know how much I had to grow. Spiritually, I have learned the need to pray about everything. Musically, I needed to refine my sound in order to reach more people. Strategically, I needed to be more innovative (I actually didn’t think placing music online was a good idea for me back then.) and interactive with other ministries and potential fans. There were disappointing times when events didn’t go as planned, were cancelled or had few in attendance. This did not stop me. Since the call is to spread The Word to the nations, I want to do my part, as led, to do so. I kept making connections, reaching out to different venues and ministries and getting on the programs of many shows. In 2014, I visited a church about 20 or so minutes from home and saw t...

Slick Smart aka DooBoyCoy Featured In #MusicLov3rz Magazine January

I spent most of my life running away from GOD. I didn’t want to submit and tried doing it my way. I feel most run away until they finally realize He’s always there wherever you run too. He is there before you get there. To remind us of our purpose.  I was born in Sierra Vista, Arizona to teenage parents from Tennessee. My dad joined the military fresh out of school and mom dropped out to raise me. I grew up in many places throughout the south (Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and even Germany). We moved every 2-3 years so we technically never settled in anywhere. I claim Texas and Tennessee as home. I attended 5 Elementary Schools, 3 Middle Schools, and 3 High Schools. Not a normal childhood. I was arrested in the beginning of my Junior year and spent the rest of my school days in a Juvenile facility in Austin, Texas where I graduated and received my diploma. I figure the best place to start my story is somewhere as a child when I knew I was different and everybody else did to...
